Inspirited Minds works with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community and our team of volunteers are our lifeblood and we couldn’t be a lifeline without them. We are truly grateful for the work they do, they persevere, they are passionate and they strive to aid because they genuinely care. Our mission as a charity is to provide advice and support to those affected by mental health problems, raise awareness to reduce the stigma around mental health, especially within the Muslim community and to look at mental health and psychology from an Islamic perspective. Volunteering is an excellent way of taking your valuable lifeskills and experience and using them to benefit others in your local community. Support Manager

Job Title: Support Manager
Hours: Five hours p/w
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Voluntary
Purpose: The Support Manager will work with counsellors, clients and support workers to oversee and manage all cases Inspirited Minds receives ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

  1. Support clients in developing skills in any aspect (social, personal) via a variety of communication methods.
  2. Supervise or direct other workers who provide services to clients.
  3. Oversee all cases making sure all records are accurate and kept up to date.
  4. Lead the development of a 3 Tier Support Service.
  5. Ensure all due diligence is carried out with regards to services provided to clients.
  6. Conduct all tasks with regards to any and all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  7. Collaborate with other staff members to perform assessments or develop treatment plans.
  8. Support clients in developing skills in any aspect (social, personal) via a variety of communication methods.
  9. Support clients in emotional and psychological needs – ensuring each correspondence is recorded and monitored.
  10. Liaise with counsellors to develop care plans for the clients’ best interest.
  11. Provide feedback of progress and updates of clients to the counsellor.
  12. Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
  13. Maintain privacy and confidentiality rights of each client.

Fundraising Manager

Job Title: Fundraising Manager

Purpose: The Fundraising Manager will manage the fundraising team and develop projects which will sustain the organisation’s incoming funds. They will plan events, campaigns and other activities to raise charity funds.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the fundraising team and develop and deliver a comprehensive and coherent fundraising strategies to push department forward with aims to meet charity goals.
  2. Set and achieve realistic time-limited fundraising targets, agreed in consultation with key staff.
  3. Work efficiently with fundraising team members to raise charity funds.
  4. Communicate with fundraising team members to plan events, campaigns, tube/mosque collections, treks/challenges and other fundraising projects supporting the organisation’s aims.
  5. Support, aid and guide fundraising team members with their designated projects and application forms for grants and sponsorships.
  6. Carry out activities to help foster better relationships with donors and supporters.
  7. Write short reports on the outcomes of each project, highlighting improvements. These are to be discussed with fundraising team members for guidance of future events and campaigns.
  8. Identify areas for professional and service development for each fundraising team member.

Purpose: The Fundraising Officer will develop projects which will sustain the organisation’s incoming funds. They will plan events, campaigns and other activities to raise charity funds.

Responsibilities

  1. Work efficiently with the fundraising team to raise charity funds.
  2. Communicate with team members to plan events, campaigns, tube/mosque collections, treks/challenges and other fundraising projects supporting the organisation’s aims.
  3. Complete and submit designated applications on time, updating database each time.
  4. Write summaries on the outcomes of each project, highlighting improvements. These are to be discussed with team members for guidance of future events and campaigns.
  5. Work with the Head of Fundraising to achieve frequent, timely and positive fundraising schemes.
  6. Relay updates as and when required by the Head of Fundraising.

Public Relations Officer

Job Title: Public Relations Officer
Hours: Five hours p/w

Purpose: The Public Relations Officer will engage with the public, media and related organisations to raise awareness about mental health. They will also plan and direct the creation of material that will maintain or enhance the public image of Inspirited Minds.

Responsibilities

  1. Writing and editing newsletters, website articles, leaflets, brochures, press releases, speeches, case studies and social media.
  2. Liaising with and answering enquiries from readers, supporters, media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email.
  3. Act as an advocate where needed and provide information, advice and other support services to individuals and families affected by mental health problems.
  4. Developing good working relationships with the media.
  5. Network and build partnerships with similar local and national organisations.
  6. Evaluate opportunities for sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
  7. To research and analyse media coverage ­aiming to get Inspirited Minds covered in many outlets as possible and on readers’ requirements.
  8. Work with their line manager to achieve frequent, timely and positive public relations schemes.
  9. Relay updates as and when required by the their line manager.

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Purpose: The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing team and plan, develop and implement the organisation’s marketing strategies. They will also manage and create online and print marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the marketing team and develop and deliver a comprehensive and coherent marketing strategies to push department forward with aims to meet charity goals.

  4. Identifying target markets and how best to reach them.

  8. Write short reports on the outcomes of each marketing project, highlighting improvements. These are to be discussed with marketing team members for guidance of future projects.

  10. To support development of the organisation’s brand and to proactively seek to develop brand profile and positioning.
  11. To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.

Job Title: Graphic Designer

Purpose: The Graphic Designer will design and produce print and digital marketing materials to ensure the public face of the charity is professional and uniform reflecting its core values, ethos and purpose.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and produce marketing communications (print and digital) pieces for a wide variety of projects, events and campaigns.
  2. Liaising with 3rd parties regarding production of materials ensuring these are taking into consideration with internal deadlines.
  3. Managing artwork to ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to throughout the organisation’s materials.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency of brand identity.
  5. Provide user-centered design expertise from concept to delivery.

Job Title: Video Editor

Purpose: The Video Editor will assist in video production and editing for a variety of projects to ensure the public face of the charity is professional and uniform reflecting its core values, ethos and purpose.

Responsibilities

  1. Assisting at shoots for video productions, including event recordings, client testimonies and training material, to serve and promote Inspirited Minds.
  2. Ensure successful project completions as well as managing own portfolio of video projects.
  3. Working alongside team in the concept development of new promotional material, and scripting and storyboarding where necessary.
  4. Liaising with 3rd parties regarding production of materials ensuring these are taking into consideration with internal deadlines.
