August Reflections

Assalaamu ‘alaikum – peace be with you.

Perseverance is persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. It is something which must be learned and developed by experience and requires a level of tenacity, determination, steadfastness as well as an inner-strength to not give up when faced with a challenge or adversity. It is an increasingly important, yet rare commodity in modern times, because of its difficulty to master, and encompasses courage, commitment and asking ourselves deeper questions about our purpose and what is most important to us.

At Inspirited Minds we understand the importance perseverance plays in our daily lives and when it comes to improving our mental health, wellbeing and resilience. It provides us with not only the acceptance of the tests, trials and tribulations we all face, but also the will, strength and confidence to persevere through them along with the ability to rise each time we fall. We pray we are all able to increase our perseverance, our persistence and our patience at times of difficulty. And as always, we are open to your comments, ideas and suggestions; so please do get in touch by replying to this email.

Du’as always,
Talat
