Inspirited Minds works with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community and our team of volunteers are our lifeblood and we couldn’t be a lifeline without them. We are truly grateful for the work they do, they persevere, they are passionate and they strive to aid because they genuinely care. Our mission as a charity is to provide advice and support to those affected by mental health problems, raise awareness to reduce the stigma around mental health, especially within the Muslim community and to look at mental health and psychology from an Islamic perspective. Job Summary:
The Counselling and Support Manager will work with counsellors, clients and support workers to oversee and manage all cases Inspirited Minds receives ensuring all relevant procedures are followed. Develop current processes to deliver the highest quality service and support, and initiate support projects for the Muslim community.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee our counselling cases making sure all records are accurate and kept up to date.
  • Making sure requests for support are responded to within 48 hours of receipt by the Counselling Team.
  • Assess applications from clients with the Counselling Team to connect clients with the most appropriate therapist, type of therapy, taking into account personal preferences.
  • Liaise with counsellors to develop care plans for the clients’ best interest.

  • Delegate Ask IM questions to support workers, review answers and aim to publish within a 4 week period and continue to develop the service.
