Artist Shayma Azhar (Lonely Eggroll) is our Artist Champion!
Her passion for art and mental health shines bright in this collaboration piece where she illustrates how one can complement the other. She has created a scenic, peaceful digital print which has been printed on high quality, 280gsm paper with a smooth silk finish.
Shayma is a full time student and self-taught illustrator. She spent her time on her art page LonelyEggroll and hopes to pursue art as a career.
“The quote itself inspired the print in that it is a reminder that Allah is with me wherever I may be and the connection I have with my faith. I chose this specific quote to emphasise a sense of reassurance that Allah is always close by.”
Her piece depicts a Muslim/Muslimah offering prayers and connecting to Allah (SWT) in the beautiful landscape of nature.
