On 16th January Meanha our Communications Manager gave an online interactive webinar covering self-help tips as well as signs and symptoms of negative mental health to university students as part of FOSIS’s MindOverChatter campaign.

We went through the signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and self harm. We also went through self help and self care for each problem as well as how to support others. We ended with a live Q&A where attendees asked several questions about how to incorporate Islam into their daily wellbeing as well as a discussion around the stigma of mental health in Muslim communities.
